Sripatum University Connects Information Technology, Law, and Entrepreneurship Students Through an Online AI Learning Experience to Build Digital Skills and Future Career Readiness

Artificial intelligence is no longer relevant only to software developers. Its growing applications across professional fields make AI literacy an essential competency for students preparing to enter an increasingly technology-driven workforce.

On 9 October 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., Sripatum University’s School of Information Technology, in collaboration with the School of Law and the School of Entrepreneurship, organized “True AI Innovator Activity (Google)” as part of course USC10967.

The online session, conducted via Zoom, attracted more than 880 registered students from the three schools, demonstrating strong interest in AI learning across academic disciplines.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Worasruang Duangchinda, Assistant to the President for Educational Technology at Sripatum University, who welcomed students and emphasized the importance of developing digital competencies for future learning and professional opportunities.

Ajarn Sirirat Matchimadilok (Coach Baew), Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at the School of Information Technology, served as the session’s speaker, sharing knowledge and practical perspectives on applying artificial intelligence to enhance learning, strengthen digital capabilities, and prepare students for the changing workplace.

A defining feature of the activity was its interdisciplinary learning environment. Students from technology, law, and entrepreneurship explored AI from different academic perspectives, opening opportunities to consider how intelligent technologies could support software development, legal information management, and business operations.

By delivering the session online, the university enabled students across three schools to participate in a shared learning experience, demonstrating how digital platforms can facilitate collaboration and expand access to technology education.

The initiative supports SDG 4, Target 4.4, through the development of employment-relevant digital and technical skills, and relates to Target 4.3, through accessible higher education learning opportunities. It also demonstrates internal interdisciplinary collaboration, although evidence of an external partnership would be needed to substantiate a specific claim under SDG 17, Target 17.17.

The future of AI belongs not only to those who develop technology, but also to those who understand how to apply it responsibly and effectively within their professions.

Through its commitment to “Learn from Real Professionals, Gain Real Experience,” Sripatum University continues to prepare students with the knowledge, adaptability, and digital competencies needed to succeed in an AI-enabled future.
