Business English Communication Program “Participated in volunteer activities at Sai Mai Temple”
Led by Dr. Patcharaporn Rattanavaropas, a lecturer in the English Business Communication program, the students were taken to do volunteer activities at Wat Sai Mai to create a sense of goodwill among the youth to know how to sacrifice themselves to preserve Buddhism. The students helped prepare food for offering to the monks and novices at the temple, washed the dishes that the monks had used, and cleaned the floor of the temple hall and surrounding areas. During this volunteer activity, the students learned about doing good deeds and helping society. “More than academics, it is the experience that we learn and know.” This past Sunday, April 24, 2016
