ความโดดเด่นของกิจกรรมครั้งนี้อยู่ที่การเปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก 3 องค์กรร่วมถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์และมอบโจทย์ ได้แก่ คุณเมธัส คำจาด Assistant Vice President | Technology & Full-Stack Engineering Leader จาก The Thai Bond Market Association, คุณพงศกร โพธิ์พูล System Analyst and Senior Developer จากบริษัท เคพีแอล เทค จำกัด และ คุณเวงกวง แต Software and AI Engineer จากบริษัท แนฟโก้ เทค จำกัด

THE Impact Rankings

From Classroom Concepts to Industry Challenges: Sripatum University Launches “Real Industry, Real Front-End,” Empowering Second-Year Students to Develop UI/UX and Front-End Solutions Through Authentic Business Projects
What happens when university assignments are no longer based solely on textbooks but instead emerge from the actual needs of industry?
The Computer Science and Software Development Innovation Program, School of Information Technology, Sripatum University (SPU), launched “Real Industry, Real Front-End,” a project kick-off initiative connecting second-year students with authentic software development challenges presented by industry professionals.
The initiative introduces students to practical development processes, from analyzing organizational requirements and designing user interfaces and user experiences (UI/UX) to developing Front-End solutions with potential for real-world application and further improvement.
A defining feature of the initiative is the participation of professionals representing three organizations: Mr. Methas Khamjad, Assistant Vice President | Technology & Full-Stack Engineering Leader at The Thai Bond Market Association; Mr. Phongsakorn Photphun, System Analyst and Senior Developer at KPL Tech Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Wengkuang Tae, Software and AI Engineer at NAFCO Tech Co., Ltd.
These professionals contributed industry perspectives and project challenges, allowing students to better understand the expectations and complexities of professional software development.
Through this experience, students are encouraged to recognize that software engineering extends beyond coding. Effective development requires understanding user needs, interpreting organizational challenges, designing accessible digital experiences, and translating requirements into functional solutions.
The initiative reflects the importance of knowledge exchange between higher education and industry, thematically connecting with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, while its experiential learning approach supports the broader principles of SDG 4: Quality Education. Nevertheless, additional evidence would be required to establish compliance with specific Times Higher Education Impact Rankings indicators.
By bringing authentic industry challenges into the learning environment, SPU creates opportunities for students to develop technical competence, analytical thinking, communication skills, and professional awareness before entering the workforce.
“Real Industry, Real Front-End” represents more than the beginning of a student project. It marks an important transition from learning how to develop software to understanding why software matters and whom it should serve.
Through its educational philosophy, “Learn from Professionals, Gain Real Experience,” Sripatum University continues to connect academic knowledge with practical opportunities, preparing students to become capable and adaptable technology professionals.
