เรียนรู้จากโครงสร้างพื้นฐานจริง สัมผัสการทำงานของระบบเครือข่ายองค์กร เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่สายอาชีพด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล
นักศึกษาสาขาวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ คณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม ได้เปิดประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียนผ่านกิจกรรม NETWORK EXPLORER @ ICT CENTER SPU ภายใต้แนวคิด “เรียนกับตัวจริง ประสบการณ์จริง” สำหรับนักศึกษารายวิชา CPE407 / CPE33167 เครือข่ายสื่อสารคอมพิวเตอร์ โดยพาเยี่ยมชม ICT Center มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม เพื่อเรียนรู้ระบบโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศจากสถานที่ปฏิบัติงานจริง
ตลอดกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้ศึกษาการทำงานของระบบเครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์ภายในองค์กร ตั้งแต่การทำงานของอุปกรณ์สำคัญ ได้แก่ Router, Switch และ Access Point ไปจนถึงการบริหารจัดการ Data Center และระบบสนับสนุนบริการด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการให้บริการดิจิทัลในองค์กรยุคปัจจุบัน
การเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริงช่วยให้นักศึกษาสามารถเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ในห้องเรียนกับการปฏิบัติงานจริง มองเห็นภาพรวมของการออกแบบ การบริหาร และการดูแลระบบเครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์ พร้อมเข้าใจบทบาทของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัลที่มีความสำคัญต่อการดำเนินงานขององค์กรในทุกภาคส่วน
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ยังช่วยเสริมสร้างทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ การแก้ไขปัญหา และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้นักศึกษาได้เห็นเส้นทางอาชีพด้านวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศอย่างชัดเจน สอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาสมรรถนะที่ตลาดแรงงานในยุคดิจิทัลต้องการ
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวสะท้อนการดำเนินงานด้าน SDG 4: Quality Education โดยเฉพาะ SDG 4.3 (Lifelong Learning Measures) และ SDG 4.3.4 Education Outreach Activities Beyond Campus ผ่านการจัดประสบการณ์เรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติที่เชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้กับสถานการณ์จริง รวมถึง SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth ในประเด็น SDG 8.4.1 Proportion of Students Taking Work Placements ที่มุ่งเตรียมความพร้อมด้านทักษะวิชาชีพและประสบการณ์ก่อนก้าวสู่โลกการทำงาน และ SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure ผ่านการเรียนรู้โครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมที่เป็นรากฐานขององค์กรยุคดิจิทัล
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมยังคงมุ่งมั่นพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่เน้นประสบการณ์จริง เพื่อให้นักศึกษามีทั้งองค์ความรู้ ทักษะ และความพร้อมในการก้าวสู่การเป็นกำลังสำคัญของอุตสาหกรรมเทคโนโลยีในอนาคต
Learning Beyond the Classroom Through Hands-on Experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure
Computer Engineering students from the School of Information Technology, Sripatum University, participated in the NETWORK EXPLORER @ ICT CENTER SPU program under the concept of “Learning from Real Professionals, Gaining Real Experience.” Organized for students enrolled in CPE407 / CPE33167 Computer Communication Networks, the activity provided an opportunity to explore the University’s ICT Center and experience enterprise network operations firsthand.
During the visit, students observed the operation of essential networking devices, including routers, switches, and access points, while learning about network management, system administration, and the University’s Data Center infrastructure that supports digital services across the campus.
By connecting classroom theories with real operational environments, students gained practical insights into enterprise networking, infrastructure management, and the role of digital technologies in modern organizations. The experience also strengthened analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and career readiness for future roles in computer networking and information technology.
This activity demonstrates SPU’s commitment to experiential learning and supports SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly SDG 4.3 and SDG 4.3.4, as well as SDG 8.4.1 by preparing students with workplace-relevant competencies. It also reflects SDG 9 by exposing students to modern digital infrastructure and innovation that drive today’s organizations.
