The School of Entrepreneurship, Sripatum University, was pleased to welcome students and staff from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore, for Day 3 of the SOAR Programme 2026 under the theme, “Applied AI, Robotics & Thai-Context AI.”
Academic Session at Sripatum University
The morning session began with welcome remarks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirat Lertpaitoonpan, Vice President of Sripatum University, followed by the presentation of tokens of appreciation.
Students then joined academic lectures led by experts from the School of Engineering. Ajarn Ponkrit Kaewsawee shared insights on The Four Phases of AI Evolution in Jensen Huang’s Framework, while Asst. Prof. Dr. Wanayuth Sanngoen, Head of Robotics and Automation Engineering, introduced students to The Edge of Robotics.
Exploring AI & Innovation at NECTEC
In the afternoon, participants visited the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), NSTDA, where they explored Thailand’s AI development ecosystem and learned about AI for Thai, a Thai-national AI platform.
The visit provided valuable exposure to Thailand’s technological advancement, applied AI research, and innovation-driven development.

Day 3 reflected SPU’s commitment to promoting international collaboration, future-ready learning, and meaningful academic exchange between Thailand and Singapore.
