Impressions of SPU
Since Mai studies in a special program (Saturdays-Sundays), most students are working and more mature than the regular program. Many of them have good jobs but do not stop studying and gaining more knowledge. Therefore, Mai mostly has friends who are working. The advantage is that Mai has many good connections from her friends of the same generation.
Applying knowledge to a career
Now Mai owns a clothing business for Plus Size women. Therefore, the most important thing in doing business is marketing. Mai can really apply the knowledge she gained from university to her work, both in planning and management because in reality, selling things is not just buying and selling and then selling. But to have a successful business, there must be a comprehensive plan, including marketing, product management, and many other things.
Problems and obstacles we have encountered at work and how to solve them
Every job has problems. It depends on how we find a way to solve the problems. But Mai believes that every problem has a solution. Like Mai, I am a business owner. Many people think it’s easy, they don’t have to be anyone’s subordinate. But in reality, being a business owner is many times harder than being an subordinate. The main problem is dealing with customers who come from all kinds of backgrounds. We have to make customers as satisfied as possible with our products and services. For Mai, customers are not gods, but customers are people who have done us favors.
