The beginning of entering university and choosing to study accounting is because I like calculating numbers. I graduated from high school in science and mathematics. When I actually got in, accounting wasn’t really a calculation. At first, I was worried whether I could do it or not because it was quite different from everything I had studied. So I decided to give it a try because once I chose it, I had to go all the way. Plus, I had very good teachers and friends who always supported me. In the end, I graduated with first class honors. I couldn’t believe myself either. From being zero to sitting and crying because I was just worried even though I hadn’t put my heart into it even once. Once we overcome some of our fears, we will definitely be able to do it. And I believe that those of you who are deciding whether to study or not, or what faculty you want to study, or are currently studying, don’t hesitate. No matter how you study accounting, you will definitely not be unemployed. There are quite a wide range of jobs, whether it’s an auditor, internal auditor, accounting services, accounting officers in a company, or even secretly competing with other people’s careers. Hahaha. When I studied until the last year, I had to go to the step of choosing an internship. At that time, I was very troubled because I didn’t want to sit and do accounting. I still didn’t understand what auditing is. (The name is scary already.) But I know a lot of seniors in the faculty who are working in auditing. I started to wonder and asked them what internal and external auditing was. Until I decided to choose an internal audit internship. I felt that I could do it. It’s not as scary as the name. Internal auditing is a good job and it progresses very fast. If you are determined and curious, everyone will definitely be able to do it. Some younger people are worried that I graduated with only a low GPA. I will ask you back if you are curious. If you are, you will definitely be able to do it. Everyone starts from zero. So don’t be afraid to start doing new things. Being an intern or a new graduate is an opportunity. A chance to have someone hold your hand, give you advice, and gain as much as you can from the thing you have chosen. Determination and effort, no need to compete with anyone, just do your best. All success will come back to us. I’m rooting for you all.
