The Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University, was originally a department under the Faculty of Business Administration. In the academic year 1989, the Sripatum University Council realized the importance of the accounting profession and resolved to establish the Department of Accountancy as a faculty of Sripatum University since the academic year 1989 onwards.

The faculty recognizes the importance of producing graduates with knowledge, skills, expertise, vision, and the ability to work at an international level, especially in the ASEAN region, efficiently and effectively. Therefore, we have collaborated with organizations, professional associations, government agencies, and both domestic and international business sectors to jointly develop modern curricula and teaching that keep up with changes in the business world, professions, and technology. We also jointly develop training courses to strengthen students’ potential, provide them with practical training, focus on case studies, and integrate with other disciplines, and provide them with certificates of honor to use in their careers. We emphasize “learning with real people, real experiences,” and are able to work in real life. In addition, we organize extracurricular activities both in and out of the curriculum to enable graduates to have the potential and expertise in accounting, taxation, language, finance, business administration, and technology that keeps up with the “ digital age to Thailand 4.0,” to be “ digital accountants,” in line with the faculty’s mission of “being good at language, taxation, IT, ethics, and being professional accountants.” From our commitment to producing graduates with these characteristics, the faculty conducted a survey and found that 100% of graduates of the Bachelor of Accountancy program were able to find jobs, and more than 80% were booked before graduation.

At present, the Faculty of Accountancy offers undergraduate studies, consisting of (1) the Bachelor of Accountancy program, regular study for 3 years and 6 months; (2) the Bachelor of Accountancy program, in the case of transferring from a Vocational Certificate, regular study for 1 year and 8 months, studying on Sundays for 1 year and 8 months, and studying on Sundays for 1 year and 8 months (Hybrid); (3) the Bachelor of Accountancy program, in the case of transferring a second degree, studying on Sundays for 1 year and 8 months; (4) the Master’s degree program, namely the Master of Accountancy program, studying for 1 year; and the Doctoral degree program, namely the Doctor of Philosophy in Accountancy program, studying for 3 years.
