Accounting student’s story The reason for deciding to study accounting was because he was instilled with the business from his father and believed that the accounting profession is the heart of business. When a business has a strong heart, the business will grow completely. The reason for choosing to study accounting is because in doing business, if we know accounting, it is considered an advantage. It makes us see the bigger picture more easily. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work at a public company until I saw a business opportunity. So I decided to turn myself into a business to find what I like and enjoy making money because I set a goal to have my own business before the age of 30. Along the way, I always learned and looked for opportunities. The first business I did was a coffee business by buying the Café’ Amazon franchise and expanding the branch from Nakhon Pathom to the area in Bangkok. At that time, the business started to grow, so I decided to continue my studies at the Master’s degree level in the Faculty of Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Program at Silpakorn University, Sanam Chandra Campus, which is the area where I do business. I learned more management skills from my accounting knowledge and applied them to my business until I had many opportunities to impact many businesses that I did, such as investing in the concrete business and real estate development. As time passed, I decided to return to study for a doctorate degree at the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University again in the Doctor of Philosophy in Accountancy program because I saw that I could continue to develop it. Turn yourself into a consultant or a special lecturer in the future. Many people have questions about why I came back to study accounting at Sripatum, which is my first home. I must tell you that Sripatum University is a university with convenient transportation. There are experienced lecturers who “learn with real people, real experiences” that can be applied to real work. In addition, the Faculty of Accountancy has modern teaching and learning, emphasizing that graduates have expertise in accounting, taxation, language, finance, business administration, and technology that keeps up with changes in the business world. I have now completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Accountancy and have had the opportunity to return to work in this second home again.
The important thing that I always tell myself is “to have a goal in life at every moment.” When we do something, we must always have a goal and a time frame to do it, such as planning how many years until we graduate. Then plan the journey in that matter, how we will manage our time to achieve our set goals. This has been passed down and instilled by my father, which everyone can apply in everything they do in life, whether it is studying, working, or doing business. I would like to encourage everyone who has a goal. Set a goal and a time frame, and you will succeed in everything you do, no matter how difficult the path is. Success is always waiting for everyone.
