Golf graduated from the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University with a GPA of 2.84. Golf is an active child who is more interested in activities than studying. During her third year of study, the faculty gave students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the S-PAC program. Golf tried to learn about accounting. Later, the faculty had a 4-month cooperative education program (internship). Golf decided to choose something that she wanted to do other than accounting, which was to help an auditor at Ernst & Young Lao Co., Ltd. (Internship at Laos). This allowed her to learn about working and living abroad. Her working life did not end there. Later, she had to face the real world by looking for a job. She tried many things, such as accounting, auditing, and one thing she wanted to try was being an internal auditor.
What is internal auditing and is it difficult?
Internal Auditors are responsible for assessing and inspecting the operations of various departments in the organization, evaluating work (workflow), monitoring various operations, and providing assurance in the supervision of work for businesses, institutions, companies, or government agencies, as well as preparing audit reports and reporting to management.
This internal audit also helps the organization achieve its set organizational goals by systematically assessing and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, control and corporate governance processes.
Golf would like to say that working in internal auditing is not as difficult as you think. If we just understand the operations of various departments in the organization, including the business of the organization, it will help us understand the organization and make us work faster and happier at work. Because our work is like traveling, we encounter new things, not just working in the company. And we will gain knowledge from various businesses that we inspect, such as manufacturing businesses, power plants, and buying and selling businesses. Each business is different. There are many things that are worth learning. It is a career that truly seeks endless knowledge.
This is what Luk Golf has tried to do in many things in the past, which has brought Luk Golf to the right point. Let’s try. Try many things. Try what we want to do. Then we will know that what we do can meet our needs and make us successful.
Golf would like to encourage those who are studying and those who are looking for work. Keep fighting! “Success comes from creating it.” And finally, try what you want to do and you will know that what you try is right for you.
