Hello, first of all, I would like to introduce myself. Many people call me “Teacher Ko”. Thank you to the Faculty of Accountancy for giving me the opportunity to share good stories with the younger students who are considering studying in the accounting field or the Faculty of Accountancy.
I am a country boy who traveled from Surat Thani Province. I graduated from Surat Thani Technology School (at that time). When I finished my vocational certificate in accounting, many friends had to decide to continue their studies for a bachelor’s degree. They all had their own university in mind. But for me, I was determined and focused. From what I heard from my seniors who came to study at Sripathum University before me, they told me that Sripathum University is conveniently located on a main road, has many classrooms, modern classrooms that are worth studying in, good computers, and most importantly, there are seniors who can advise or help with homework when I still don’t understand the lesson. There are teachers who can give advice and take good care of me. So I decided to study at the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripathum University. When I graduated with a bachelor’s degree and went to work, the business accepted me very well. What I gained and proved my abilities was the knowledge from Sripathum University.
After finishing my bachelor’s degree and working for about 7 years, I thought that I would have to continue my studies at the master’s degree level, so I decided to study at Sripatum University in the Master of Accountancy program again in 2007 and graduated in 2009. During my master’s degree study, it was fun. Friends came from many areas and occupations. We built relationships between seniors and juniors. I learned from lecturers from both the public and private universities and lecturers who had hands-on experience, which made me gain a lot of knowledge from my studies. When I stepped up to the position of an accounting and finance executive, I was trusted by the organization’s executives and the team and was accepted in my work.
The final decision to study for a doctorate degree was to still decide to come and study at Sripatum University once again in the doctorate program in Accounting. After completing the doctorate, I was accepted by various universities and government agencies, giving me the opportunity to lecture to students, employees, and various entrepreneurs.
Finally, I would like to tell the younger students who are deciding to continue their studies. I would like to encourage them to choose to study at the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University, because this institution has strength in personnel, faculty, and modern teaching. It is a university that organizes real learning from the real experiences of external faculty from both the public and private sectors, including full-time faculty of the Faculty of Accountancy, at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
