Hello, Ms. Charumas Khumserani or Biew. I am an alumna from the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree (First Class Honors) in the academic year 2019.
The starting point for studying at the Faculty of Accountancy , SPU
Starting from the time I was studying in high school, I was in the process of deciding what faculty to study at university level. Until I received guidance from many teachers, including studying information about a career that would definitely not leave me jobless after graduating, which was “accounting” because the accounting career is an important career for every organization. In addition, I personally like mathematics, numbers, and calculations. In addition, the accounting faculty at Sripatum University guarantees that after graduating, I will have a job 100% because I got to study with real people and experience real experiences. So I decided to study accounting at Sripatum University without hesitation.
After graduation, Biew started working at an accounting office for the first time. Working in an accounting office gave Biew a lot of experience and knowledge in accounting because she did accounting in many areas, such as recording income and expenses in a ready-made accounting program, preparing financial statements, checking accuracy and submitting documents to various agencies, including accounting for various taxes, etc.
After working for a while, Bew has been gaining work experience and developing herself continuously. She thought that she wanted to work in accounting in a bigger organization. So she decided to move to work at One Power Public Company Limited, working as an accounting officer until now. Bew intends to gain work experience and develop herself further for further advancement in this career.
Advantages of studying accounting
Personally, I think that knowledge in the classroom can support real work. It may not support everything, but we can definitely apply the basic knowledge that we learn to further our work. Studying accounting makes me a responsible person, meticulous in my work, determined, patient, and likes to learn new things all the time. This part will help us to work efficiently and become a good accountant.
