Hello, I am Pae Sumit Ratanabuangam. I am an alumnus of the Faculty of Accountancy, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Sripatum University. I am currently working in Internal Audit. I can say that I work in the field that I graduated from. The university has given me knowledge, a good environment, and good friends, which allowed me to further develop my skills after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree. After I started working, I decided to return to study for a Master’s degree because I believe that Sripatum University will be able to further develop my potential.
In my line of work, I work on internal auditing, which requires knowledge and skills in accounting, taxation, internal auditing, using Microsoft Excel, communication, and adaptability. All aspects are important, especially using Excel, because it is important for data processing, data analysis, and presentation. Every organization uses Excel to help with work. When exporting data, most of it comes out in Excel format, so we need to have skills in using Excel in order to produce data correctly, precisely, conveniently, and quickly.
I would like to leave a message to the younger ones who are interested in this line of work: I would like you to develop your readiness before entering this career, so that when you graduate you will be a quality person. You should gain as much knowledge as you can from the classroom so that when you graduate you can use and apply it to accumulate experience. Because the more you work in this line of work, the more experience you will gain. It takes time to gain experience. When you prepare early, you can develop yourself further. Starting early is half the battle. I would like you to try it and you will fall in love with this line of work.
