Before deciding to study at the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University, I spent only a few minutes asking the Faculty of Accountancy about the accounting program. I asked about the advantages of studying accounting here and what are the future career paths? Because everyone thinks that studying accounting is only about calculating numbers. However, in the university’s curriculum, the faculty encourages students to apply their knowledge to various future careers, such as accountants, tax auditors, external auditors, or internal auditors. After graduating, you don’t have to worry about being unemployed in the future because the faculty emphasizes that “graduating with an accounting degree will have a job 100%.”
During my studies, I had the opportunity to work while studying. I worked as a fixed asset accounting officer at Sinphaet Seriruk Co., Ltd., which made me aware of the fixed asset system, which is an important part of the financial accounting system. Data must be compiled, searched, and retrieved quickly in order to manage fixed assets to be cost-effective and efficient. I can see the overall picture of the business in detail in every related system. Therefore, my daily work is not monotonous or boring because I have to constantly study and gain knowledge. This is equivalent to constantly developing myself and seeing progress from studying at Sripathum University, including achieving success in my dream career. Therefore, studying accounting does not only involve numbers, but also requires effort. It is not limited to working with numbers only. Therefore, “Study accounting, be diligent, and you will see success.”
