Open up the first-hand experience of the talented senior 'Yongyong Pitchaya'
Scholarship recipient for master's degree in China

Hello everyone, Admin has a great story to tell. Today it’s the turn of a talented senior who has an amazing work that caught the eyes of the judges and was selected as a scholarship student to study at Northwest University of Political Science and Law in China. A round of applause for Yongyong Pichaya from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, majoring in Chinese. If you want to be as successful as her, let’s get to know her!!!

Let's get to know each other first. Let's begin!!!

Phi Yongyong: Hello, my name is Pitchaya Saelee, nickname Yongyong. I graduated from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, majoring in Chinese, SPU. When I was about to graduate from high school, I had the opportunity to meet a professor from Sripatum University who came to give guidance at school. At that time, I was planning to study in the Faculty of Liberal Arts, majoring in Chinese. When I found out that SPU offered a one-year exchange program in China, when I was in my third year, I didn’t hesitate to apply to study here. You can’t find a good opportunity like this anywhere else, so I had to grab it right away (laughs).

Definition of Chinese art students

Phi Yongyong: If I were to ask for three syllables for Chinese art students, Yong would say “try” because Chinese is a fairly difficult language. If you don’t have the heart, you might give up halfway. Students who are interested in studying in this field must not be discouraged. Nothing is beyond our determination. Keep fighting! 🙂

Learn with real people and real experiences.
It means that we can go and talk to native speakers in the land of the dragon.
Phi Yongyong: This place has made me learn many things since the first step I took. I was impressed from the freshman reception. The seniors were very friendly. The teachers took good care of me. They were able to give me advice on everything. They supported me no matter what. Even when I had the opportunity to go on an exchange in China in my third year, I got a lot of good advice.

We got a scholarship to study for a master's degree in China because of SPU. Give yourself the opportunity to fly and gain experience with native speakers.

Phi Yongyong: When I was in China, I tried to gain as much knowledge as I could from there. Because when the opportunity comes, I don’t want to regret it later. I did a lot of activities. There were events within the university, so I tried to join various skill competitions to use as a portfolio to apply for a scholarship to study for a master’s degree. And now I’ve succeeded. I got a scholarship to study for a master’s degree in China (smiles).

“A tip I’d like to recommend to my juniors is to try to create a lot of work to have a good portfolio to apply for further studies like me. It helps a lot. But if I didn’t have the opportunity to go on an exchange that day, I wouldn’t have gotten a scholarship to continue my master’s degree today. Thank you SPU for giving me the opportunity to fly to study with real people in the native language.”

Finally, I would like to leave you with this...

Phi Yongyong: For those of you who want to have the opportunity to go on an exchange like Yong, come be a junior in the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Chinese Language, SPU. You will definitely gain a lot of knowledge and good experiences before you graduate. Most importantly, try to join activities and get to know as many people as you can because it will give you good advice as an option for future employment or further study. Fighting everyone!!!
