Asst. Prof. Dr. Chuthamas Sukontha was honored to be a speaker in a workshop on the topic of “How to speak and read English like a foreigner.” This project aims to provide Student Affairs with knowledge and confidence in reading and speaking, and to provide Student Affairs with guidelines for developing their ability to read and pronounce correctly like a native speaker, to communicate effectively, and to be able to complete their work.
The lecture made Student Affairs of the English for Business Communication program School of Liberal Arts accept that to be able to speak English like a foreigner depends on many factors because English is not our native language. We have to practice a lot and train hard in order to have an accent and speak like a foreigner. To speak like a foreigner depends on many factors such as Stressing and Intonation. When we can know these 2 points, we will be able to speak with an accent like a foreigner to some extent.
