Lecturer Michael James Patrick Martin was honored to be a speaker in the workshop on “Working in a Cross-Cultural Environment”. This project aims to provide Student Affairs with knowledge and understanding about working with English in a multicultural society. The lecture led Student Affairs of the Business English Communication program, School of Liberal Arts to conclude that there are simple principles for speaking English to foreigners so that they can understand: speaking more slowly and clearly, using simpler vocabulary, and asking an interpreter for help in speaking difficult sentences. There are suggestions and sometimes repetition.
