Impressions of SPU
Sripathum University is a university that has changed my life a lot. From a vocational certificate graduate to a person who is ready to work, it has changed my personality, mindset, way of looking at the world, and how to develop myself. I had the opportunity to participate in activities while I was still studying, both activities of the Faculty of Law and activities of the student club. It made me realize that studying at the university is actually like an internship. Students who have participated in activities at the university will be ready to work immediately after graduating without having to waste time interning again because all the work is included in the activities that we have already done. It just changes from student activities to real work.
Applying knowledge to a career
When we graduate from a law school, when we apply for a job, we cannot use the name of the university to guarantee our legal knowledge. It does not matter if we graduate from a government or private university. We have to compete in a knowledge-testing competition. And because we are a private university, we can invite special lecturers who have experience in the legal field, such as judges, prosecutors, or lawyers, etc. This kind of opportunity is not available in general universities with limited budgets. This is the reason why each Sripatum University student who graduates and goes to work often meets special lecturers who used to teach at the university in various companies. This makes it easier to step into the working world. Because the more people we know, the better it will be for our work.
Problems and obstacles encountered in work and how to solve them
Most people are still stuck with the idea that kids who graduate from government universities are better than kids who graduate from private universities. At first, I faced this obstacle. But after we started working and had the opportunity to show our potential and abilities, we were more accepted.
Message to the youngsters
Sripathum University is the first private university to offer a Faculty of Law and has many alumni who have gone on to grow in various careers. For those who are looking for a university that offers a Faculty of Law, Sripathum University is a good choice. I would like to invite interested students to come and study here.
