Get to know the faculty

Sripathum University is the first private higher education institution in Thailand to offer a Faculty of Law.
Starting its teaching since 1970 along with the establishment of Sripatum University, the Faculty of Law has had a history and evolution alongside the university. In 1987, the university received permission from the University Affairs Office to expand its education to the eastern region, and was granted permission to open a Faculty of Law program at Sripatum University, Chonburi Campus.

The Faculty of Law, Sripatum University aims to produce graduates with knowledge and ability in law, both in theory and practice, so that they can properly practice law, know how to use reason, understand the text of the law, understand the principles, interpretations and intentions of the law, and focus on the quality of graduates by organizing extra-curricular activities that promote student characteristics, such as the Professional Experience Project, the English for Lawyers Project, the Ethics for Lawyers Project, the Personality Development Project for Lawyers, the Academic Lecture and Knowledge Enhancement Project to Prepare for the Bar Examination, etc.

At present, the Faculty of Law, Sripatum University has produced more than 20,000 graduates who have graduated and gone on to serve society. Graduates from the Faculty of Law, in addition to working as independent lawyers, can also work in various positions in both the public and private sectors, such as judges, prosecutors, police officers, district officers, legal officers, credit officers, human resources, etc.

In addition, the Faculty of Law, Sripathum University has also established the Sripathum Law Clinic and the Sripathum Law Center to provide academic services to society, provide assistance and support to the poor and those who have been treated unfairly.
