- Legal research studies the “meaning” of words or principles in the law that are not yet clear.
- Analyze issues in the law that are not yet understood to create a better understanding.
- Study the causes of circumstances that make laws ineffective in practice.
Study of ineffective law enforcement
Study the adequacy of Thai law to comply with international legal principles.
- Research is a work that requires studying, analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting solutions to problems, as well as answering questions or being consistent with national development or operational goals that can be utilized.
What can be analyzed?
- Analysis of legal gaps
- Analyze law enforcement problems
- Analysis of non-conformity with international standards
- Analyze management processes to ensure compliance with the law
- Analyze the causes and factors in which laws are unenforceable or unjust.
If it is research to amend the law, the research method will be as follows:
- Problem analysis studies mostly require seminars with stakeholders and law users.
- Interview with qualified persons
- Study abroad
- Listen to comments on the revised proposal
- Especially the practical feasibility
If it is research related to performance evaluation, the study method will be as follows:
- Must go down to receive the information that is being processed
- Observe and interview officials
- Interviewing service users
- Set evaluation criteria based on goals and performance.
- Analyze and draw conclusions by considering the results.
