Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562
It was announced in the Government Gazette on 24 May 2019. This law will come into effect after 1 year from the date of its announcement in the Government Gazette, and will have an impact on both the public sector, government agencies, and private sectors.
“Biometric” data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2019 is therefore a major challenge in the digital society era of “Thailand 4.0”.
