According to the Law Reform Commission Act of 2010, the selection of law reform commissioners is the duty and responsibility of the Law Reform Commission Selection Committee. The selection committee will consist of representatives from various sectors, including government agencies, permanent lecturers who teach in the field of law, and representatives from private organizations, totaling 12 people. For the permanent lecturers who teach in the field of law, there can be 4 selection committee members, divided into 2 permanent lecturers from state higher education institutions and 2 from the private sector. As for the results of the selection of permanent lecturers who teach in the field of law from private higher education institutions, it appears that Assistant Professor Sophon Charoen, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Law, who is a representative from Sripatum University, has been selected to be a member of the Law Reform Commission Selection Committee.
