| The 5 th of December, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday, is an important day when Thai communities around the world will come together to pay their love and respect to His Majesty The King. To celebrate the 88th Birthday of His Majesty King BhumibolAdulyadej this year, Sripatum University organized a special event on 4 December, 2015 at the Activities Zone in front of Building 10. On this occasion, Vice President of Sripatum University – Asst. Prof. Dr. WiratLertpaitoonpan presided over the ceremony, and invited all SPU Executives, faculty members, staff and students to pay respect and loyalty to His Majesty The King, and also to celebrate the event by singing the Royal Anthem and Sadudee Maharaja song. The ceremony was ended with cultural activities and Thai traditional dance. Besides the celebration, all Executives, faculty members and staff are invited to wear yellow shirt, which represents the color of His Majesty’s birthday, throughout this auspicious month of December in order to show loyalty and gratitude to the King. The birthday of King BhumibolAdulyadej is also recognized as National Father’s Day. |
