The definitions of “fashion braces” and “sale” have been added to the definition of “fashion braces sale” in this announcement, which is not specified in the Consumer Protection Board Order No. 10/2009.
“Sell” means to rent, lease, or provide in any way for compensation in the form of money or other benefits, including an offer or invitation to do so.
Section 3. #Prohibition on selling fashion braces products.
And the announcement mentioned about fashion braces that they are products that may be dangerous to consumers, affecting oral health, causing tooth decay, tooth deformity, and may cause infection that can be life-threatening.
According to the test results of the Department of Science Service, Department of Medical Sciences, it was found that there were contaminants which were heavy metals such as lead, antimony, selenium, chromium and arsenic.
