Opening the Future Stage: IT Professors and SPU Use Generative AI to Prepare Gen Z for the Digital Labor Market

Sripathum University reinforces the concept of “Learning with real people, real experiences” by organizing the project “Gen Z x AI: Prepare for work with AI Skills” to prepare students for the digital labor market. On March 12, 2025, at Auditorium 1, 14th floor, Building 11, Sripathum University , we were honored to have Asst. Prof. Dr. Cholathit Aimworawuttikul, Assistant to the President of Sripathum University, give an opening speech and lead a practical lecture that will help participants understand and use AI effectively in real work. This project is designed to be an AI-Driven Workshop covering techniques for using AI in various dimensions, such as Generative AI, AI for creative work, and AI for job applications, by Assistant Professor Thipha-arun Khiawkaew, a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Software Development Innovation, who gave a lecture on the topic of “Using Generative AI to Increase Work Efficiency” together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Chonlatis Iamworawuttikul, Assistant to the President, who shared techniques for using AI to increase work efficiency in real life, along with Prompt Engineering tips for AI to create accurate results.

SPU IT students prepare to take the stage at Thammasat Blockchain Summit, sharing their perspectives on AI transforming Thai businesses

Mr. Nattawat Sawasdee, a first-year student in Computer Science and Software Development Innovation, was honored to be a speaker to share his experiences and express his vision on technology development for Thai society and economy in the Thammasat Blockchain Summit project to be held on April 1, 2025 at Puey Centenary Park, Thammasat University, Rangsit Center. By presenting on the topic “AI is Closer Than You Think: AI is closer than you think” that will help open the perspective of using AI to be consistent with current work, especially for further development of SME and industrial sectors, including looking at the future of AI in the next 5 years, which will help analyze and evaluate the business situation more. Dean of IT, Sripatum University, lectures on AI ethics in the professional training program at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi

Asst. Prof. Dr. Pralee Maneerat, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Sripatum University, was invited by the Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, to be a speaker on the topic of “Ethical Principles and Responsibilities in the Use of Artificial Intelligence for Professional Experience Training” and “Ethical Analysis and Decision-Making in the Use of Artificial Intelligence for Professional Experience Training” on February 27, 2025 at the Nalinwit Conference Room, 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building. The activity was organized under the project “Artificial Intelligence Ethics for Professional Training” to promote students’ knowledge, understanding, and awareness of ethical responsibilities in using AI, which will be an important foundation for developing the potential of future personnel to be ready to work in real life with ethics and sustainability.

SoftDev Club opens a coding classroom to inspire students to learn and demonstrate development from the basics of HTML/CSS.

The Software Development (SoftDev) Club took students from Learn Satit Phatthana School to create websites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Club members shared their knowledge and hands-on experience, helping to enhance analytical thinking skills, practicing creative web page structure and design. The club ended with a tutorial on how to use GitHub to make it easier to manage projects and inspire students to learn.

Enhance your skills and manage data professionally with advanced Microsoft Excel for ACT.

The “Advanced Microsoft Excel Techniques Training Workshop” will be held on January 30-31, 2025 at Meeting Room 501, Building 4, 1st Floor, National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards (ACFS). January 30th is a practical training session on important features of Microsoft Excel, working with cells and cell references, as well as creating formulas and functions for practical use. On January 31st, we will focus on working with external data sources, using basic and advanced data tools, working with multiple workbooks, and configuring security. Participants will develop skills in managing and analyzing large amounts of data effectively, be able to create and apply calculation formulas and functions in Microsoft Excel to support various tasks accurately and quickly, and understand how to connect and import data from external data sources for decision-making. They will also increase their ability to work with multiple files simultaneously and be able to set security values to maintain data confidentiality appropriately.

The Institute of Forensic Science organized a training session on ‘Generative AI for Research’ by the Dean of ITSPU.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Pralee Manirat, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, was honored to be a speaker at the workshop “Generative AI for Research” at the Institute of Forensic Science on January 17, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This training focuses on creating an understanding of the working principles of Generative AI, demonstrating examples and exchanging research application approaches, as well as synthesizing academic data, which will be beneficial to the development of research results for personnel in the forensic science field.
