CPE joins TESA Top Gun Rally 2024

Computer Engineering students participated in the 18th Thailand Embedded Systems Skills Competition (TESA Top Gun Rally 2024) held on November 10-16, 2024 at the Faculty of Engineering, Sriracha Campus, Kasetsart University. Under the topic “Acoustic and AI-Based Predictive Maintenance with Edge Computing” Organized by the Thai Embedded Systems Association in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Sriracha. Won 1st runner-up award from the national stage Bitkub

Congratulations to Bua Nattawat Sawasdee, a first-year student in the Computer Science and Software Development Innovation program. and Dul Kiatsak Singngam, a graduate from the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and a member of the Melearn team. Won 1st runner-up award from the national stage Bitkub NextGen Business Pitch 2024 and Bitkub Blockathon 2024. In the work “Melearn” Platform for Online Learning (E-Learning) by applying Frontier Technology such as AI and Blockchain to use AI as a Co-Mentor to help teach and answer questions from students. And there is a certificate that is made into an NFT certificate to prevent forgery.

CSI Branch to Present NSC 2024 Semi-Finals

First-year students of Computer Science and Software Development Innovation major participated in the semi-final presentation of the National Software Contest 2024 (Central Region), category of programs to promote learning skills. The BondVerse project represents a universe of elements and chemical bonds that students will explore and learn through a web application. CodeQuest: A Logic Programming Adventure is a web application for learning about programming using the principles of logic in a game format.

Com Eng SPU learns from real problems and real workplaces.

Amazing work from Computer Engineering students! Integrating classroom learning, solving problems from industrial establishments, developing analytical thinking skills, problem solving, and innovation by applying AIoT technology, with real judges from the industrial sector joining in listening to the presentation and giving advice to students. The award-winning groups are as follows: Winner Project: IoT Frenergy (Air Conditioner Water Heater) Developed in collaboration with the company: Pack Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Develop IoT Application to use with PAC Frenergy products by pulling API from Sensors device. To process and check various product status such as energy value, temperature, and pressure, etc. Advisor: Dr. Surachai Thongkaew 1st runner-up prize Project: IoT system for water management in production processes Developed in collaboration with the business: Clean Care Concept Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Develop a water management system in the production process by using an IoT system for monitoring and control. Water level in the water tank to control the automatic on/off of the water pump. Advisor: Asst. Prof. Jiroj Charitkhun Second runner-up Project : Indoor air quality Company : Science Sense Asia Co., Ltd. Developing a classroom air quality forecasting model for PM2.5 preparedness using ZETA protocol connectivity technology To further develop and improve the system to be able to support decision-making. Advisor: Asst. Prof. Nimit Thaksawittayapong Co-advisor: Asst. Prof. Masawi Masdisonchoti Finally, the experience and career path sharing from entrepreneurs is shared, giving students the opportunity to “work with businesses and learn from real people and experience!”
