Faculty of Information Technology, Sripatum University is one of the faculties that has a commitment to develop students to be outstanding in technology under the motto “Empowering the Future through Digital Technology”

It is well known that we are all entering a digital age full of new technologies and digital innovations that drive the country’s economy and society towards becoming a country in the form of a creative economy. This is an important reason why students of the Faculty must have the ability to develop, apply and adapt digital technology into products or services that meet the needs of graduate users, both in the public and private business sectors.

The Faculty of Information Technology, Sripatum University, is aware of the rapid and severe changes in technology (Disruptive Technology). Therefore, there is a process of reviewing and improving both knowledge and skills that are important for students’ professional applications to be in line with the needs of the industrial sector. The digital technology knowledge core has been designed into 5 cores: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Big Data, and IoT, which are referred to as “Digital Technology: ABCDI”, and integrated into learning and practice in every program of the Faculty.

The Faculty of Information Technology has managed the curriculum in the field of technology at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. The bachelor’s degree curriculum emphasizes the ability of learners to apply knowledge and skills to develop and apply them together with industrial entrepreneurs, including:

The Computer Engineering program focuses on learning from real problems and practices in real workplaces to apply AIoT technology, allowing students to gain experience and expertise in applying technology in real situations, in order to prepare for working in Industry 4.0 and promote the development of technology and industry to progress together sustainably in the future. There is close and continuous cooperation with the industrial sector, allowing students to gain real experience and develop the skills necessary to work in real situations through projects with leading companies and organizations in the industry, in order to prepare students to enter the industry with confidence and fully meet the needs of the current and future labor market directly.

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program is focused on developing skills and knowledge in the field of information technology. Students will learn about programming, data management, web application design and development, and networking. They will also be taught about artificial intelligence for application in information system management. In addition, the program emphasizes teaching that promotes creativity and problem-solving, which are important skills for working in the technology industry. Therefore, in addition to gaining academic knowledge, students will also develop the skills necessary for working in the technology industry to their full potential and be fully prepared for careers that require expertise in information and communication technology.

The Computer Science and Software Development Innovation (CSI) program is a computer science program that focuses on developing knowledge and skills in modern software development, which is also lacking in the job market. This program is unique in that it is designed to allow learners to work in the software development process from upstream to downstream in the form of Software Full Stack Development in collaboration with the industrial sector. Learners will practice working with digital platforms that support working with ABCDI digital technology.

Students will have practical work with the industry from the beginning of their studies until the end of their studies, where they gain real experience with entrepreneurs. Every program will integrate the 5 digital technologies ABCDI to ensure that graduates are complete graduates who meet the needs of society and the country.

In addition to undergraduate studies, the Faculty of Information Technology also offers graduate programs at both the master’s and doctoral levels in Information Technology (MS.IT). and PhD.IT. To develop in-depth knowledge in applying digital technology science to research knowledge development, which has graduated more than 27 batches at the master’s degree level and 18 batches at the doctoral level, with more than 15 outstanding thesis research awards at the national level from the Private Higher Education Institutions Association of Thailand (PHEIT) for more than 10 years in a row, it is certain that those who are interested in developing themselves to keep up with the latest technologies of the digital world can come to learn and develop themselves at the Faculty of Information Technology, Sripatum University.
