Brother Hanwa reviews the CSI branch. How is it after 1 year?

Please introduce yourself!
Hello, my name is Miss Narisorn Changsadao. My nickname is Hanwa, but you can call me Wa. I am in the Faculty of Information Technology, Department of Computer Science and Software Development Innovation, Dek65.

Thoughts before entering this field of study
Before coming to study, I had researched about this field and learned that this field mainly studies coding and software development, which is different from computer engineering that also studies hardware. I thought that I would learn about languages and tools used.

I’ve been studying for a year now. How is it?
If you think that you will be able to write code right away, stop thinking that way. But don’t misunderstand. Because here, they will lay the foundation for you, teaching you from the beginning of thinking. There is a saying from the teacher that I have been impressed with since the beginning of the semester: “They don’t only teach you how to write, but they also teach you how to think.” They teach us to think and analyze various systems, including planning and designing systems to meet the needs of users or target groups. They also show us the path that can be developed further, not just as a programmer, whether it’s a project manager, software tester, or other careers in this field.

What would you like to say to the younger ones who are making a decision?
For anyone who knows that they like coding or like this field, I highly recommend it. The teacher always challenges us. But for those who are still not sure, afraid of numbers, afraid of not understanding, not keeping up, you can rest assured. All teachers are lovely and take care of and help lay the foundation from 0 until you understand the work and can write. I guarantee you will not be disappointed because you will be learning with real people with real experience. The teachers are really good.
