Sripathum engineers prepare to step into the AEC

The International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) kindly came to explain and create understanding for students of the Faculty of Engineering, Sripatum University, to understand the changes that will occur when the AEC occurs. In terms of professional work, there will be colleagues from different cultures in ASEAN. Engineers must work in a way that supports each other, use opportunities to their advantage, and do not necessarily have to compete with each other. They must have flexible thinking, have good communication skills, including language use, and most importantly, be able to learn by themselves in various fields that change and are diverse. This is lifelong learning.
For the AEC International Engineering Work Permit Agreement, the ACPE Permit, or ASEAN KW, will be created. Engineering professionals can apply with at least 7 years of engineering work experience, with at least 2 years working in the field for which ACPE is applied.
Therefore, engineers must be prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities that are coming today.
… The bad news is that engineers from many ASEAN countries have already taken action and are ready today, but our Thai engineers have not even reached the starting point yet.
