Warmly welcomed during the Friends Visiting Friends Season 2 activity, which is a project initiated by the Council of Deans of Engineering Faculties of Thailand. This is the 2nd time in the Council Meeting No. 3/2022 and the study tour seminar between 19-20 December 2022.
With the President of Chiang Mai University , Professor Dr. Phongrak Sribanditmongkol, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, CMU, Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamut, as the chairman to welcome the participants, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chonlathit Eiamvorawuttikul, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sripatum University and President of the Council for the 45th term, as well as the deans of the faculties of engineering from more than 30 institutes nationwide, to allow members to discuss, exchange knowledge, and build good relationships among themselves, leading to strong cooperation in development in the future, at the Phraya Sriwisarnwacha Meeting Room, Strategy Building, University Office, Chiang Mai University, Monday, December 19, 2022
In this event, the participants also had a field trip inside Chiang Mai University to learn about the university’s drive towards becoming a smart city from the director of the Smart City Management Center, CMU , Assistant Professor Dr. Chai Rangsiyakul, as well as visiting laboratories in the Faculty of Engineering, including the Innovation and Prototype Development Center: INNO Fab, Mini Learning Factory, Department of Industrial Engineering, as well as the Center for Civil Engineering and Advanced Railway Foundations: RailCFC, Water Resources Building, Department of Civil Engineering, and finally the Biomass Center, Nakornping Energy Research and Development Institute, Chiang Mai University.
