Statement from Nong Ben Apichanya Thongmon
President of the Engineering Student Club
Electrical Engineering, 3rd year
Leading women who volunteered to be a part of developing the engineering network of Sripathum University to go far with determination and sacrifice in working for the public. Today, Ben has feelings in her heart to tell her friends.
“The reason I studied engineering is because engineering is a stable career with opportunities for advancement all the time. Plus, there are opportunities to work or work abroad.”
“Sripathum University’s Engineering is different from other places because it offers an opportunity for everyone who is interested and determined to study in this faculty to experiment and do it for real to find their hidden potential.”
The Engineering Club was established to be the center for organizing various activities of the Faculty and to provide assistance to students in various aspects, whether it is in terms of study, social activities, and recreational activities of the Faculty of Engineering, Sripatum University.
Normally, our Faculty of Engineering organizes a leadership camp project every year. The Faculty Club team will be taken out to do good for the community and various schools. This is an interesting volunteer activity and an opportunity for fellow students to participate in this kind of good project to learn other skills such as socializing, leadership, being a sacrifice and being useful to the community, apart from the professional field they study.
The future project plan that we would like to see happen in the Faculty of Engineering would be to develop and expand effective teaching and learning to increase potential continuously until it becomes a leading private university that plays an important role in creating and producing engineering personnel to meet the needs of the future market. It continuously integrates technology and modern teaching media. Most importantly, it maintains the culture of passing on good things between seniors and juniors, and maintains a friendly atmosphere between teachers and students like this forever through the role of the Engineering Faculty Club.
I am so impressed to work with everyone in the Engineering Club team and other club teams. Working here has taught me how to work as a team and how to work with many people, which has given me a lot of experience that I can use as a good lesson for the future.
