Faculty of Engineering organizes “Young Engineer Volunteers Project: Safety for Rural Schools” at Nikhom Samakkhi Chai School, Nikhom Sang Ton Eng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lop Buri Province.

The Faculty of Engineering organized the “Young Engineer Volunteer Project: Safety for Rural Schools” this year at Nikhom Samakkhi Chai School, Nikhom Sang Ton Eng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lopburi Province, from December 13-17, 2023, in collaboration with the Student Development and Community Relations Center, Sripathum University. There are two parts of the activity:

Part 1: Basic motorcycle inspection and repair activities, carried out under the name of “Young Engineers Club, Good Thoughts, Good Actions”. This section uses the club’s student affairs budget, which is mostly made up of engineering students. Asst. Prof. Chalat Phongsuk is the club’s advisor.

Part 2: Activity to build a multi-purpose field size 6x25x0.12 meters, carried out by the Student Development Committee and the Student Club Team, Faculty of Engineering, using the Faculty’s budget only for travel and food expenses. All material costs were supported by the Faculty of Engineering alumni network and by Ajarn Montien Kaenson, a lecturer in the Automotive Engineering Department, an expert in safety.
