Learn every molecule of robots and enter the future industry.
…. Assistant Professor Dr. Wanayut Saenngern ….
Faculty member, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering
Teacher Wanayut: Back when I was a child, there were cartoons and movies about robots that were shown on TV. I remember that it was very entertaining. It was probably the beginning of my interest. After that, I started to take apart/disassemble/take apart toys, including mechanical systems and various devices because I wanted to see how they actually worked. But when I put them together, there were extra bolts everywhere… (laughs) From that day on, I was able to study engineering and am now a teacher teaching about these mechanical systems.
Teacher Wanayut: It’s fun to think, design imaginary robots, and then make them into real things. And I feel even more proud when I’ve finished building them and see the robots actually working.
Professor Wanayut: Students who graduate in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Robotics will understand robot control systems, sensor systems, data communication systems, robot program design and development, and automation systems. In the current industrial sector, robots are increasingly used, such as the electronics assembly industry, the automotive parts and modern vehicle assembly industry, the logistics industry in automated freight and warehouse transportation, the modern agricultural industry with automation systems, and the medical sector, hospitals are increasingly using robots to assist in their work. Food and drug transport robots play a significant role during the COVID-19 situation. You can be confident that graduates in this field will have a job market in the future and will definitely not be unemployed.
Professor Wanayut: System Integrator, a system integrator with various brands and types of machinery. Therefore, the system must be developed to communicate and connect data in the same network system and communicate between machinery or networks within the factory, including long-distance communication.
Agricultural Robot Developer A developer of robots and automation systems, using robots and automation control systems in agriculture, cultivation, plant growth care, and harvesting, etc.
Professor Wanayut: The robotic walking aid for the lower half of the body is a wearable device attached to a human (Exoskeleton Robot) to help the wearer move and walk, returning him to walking at a level comparable to a normal person.
