Impressions of SPU
I was impressed by the atmosphere of Sripatum University. Both the trees and the fountain made the atmosphere shady and very suitable for studying. My friends were friendly and united. We helped each other with any problems. The teachers were friendly to their students and sincerely loved and wished them well. I studied in the third generation of electrical engineering. At that time, the teachers were very strict about academics because they wanted us to graduate and be able to work for real. They helped us as much as they could. In the end, we all graduated.

Applying knowledge to a career
A lot. For over 20 years, I have used my knowledge in electrical engineering to work at the State Railway of Thailand. In the past, I worked in locomotive repair and electrical power systems related to the locomotive, which is the driving system of the locomotive, electrical control, and maintenance or inspection and repair. I was able to use all of these. Later, I oversaw the construction of the Airport Link and the Red Line electric train projects, and I oversaw the electrical system for the construction of the projects. Since the electric train system uses high-voltage electricity, we have to be extra careful, so I used a lot of the knowledge I had learned.

Problems and obstacles encountered in work and how to solve them
In the beginning when I started working at the railway, there were more problems with people because at that time I was young and had just graduated. Therefore, accepting the knowledge and abilities of newly graduated engineers was an obstacle for my colleagues at the employee level under my supervision. I had to use the knowledge and abilities I had studied to work hard seriously. In addition, I had to mingle with them in order to make them trust me and cooperate with me in my work because when working with people, the most important thing is trust and accepting each other’s knowledge and abilities.

Message to the youngsters
For those who are currently studying, try to study hard because when you graduate, you will have to apply the knowledge you have learned to your real job. Try to gain a lot of experience, such as internships, because these things will definitely be useful when you start working. And for those who are about to graduate, I would like to recommend gaining more knowledge outside of the classroom because sometimes you may work in a field that is not related to what you studied. Learning in a variety of ways will help you adapt to work quickly. And when you start a new job, you have to be determined to learn the job as much as you can, approach coworkers to get familiar with them, and then you will be able to work smoothly and be successful in the future.
