Representatives of the Council of Deans of Engineering Faculty of Thailand Representatives of the Council of Deans of Engineering Faculty of Thailand, Asst. Prof. Dr. Cholathit Eiamvorawuttikul, the 45th President of the Council of Deans of Engineering Faculty and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sripatum University, traveled to meet, discuss and study with government agencies and the industrial sector in Tattori City, Japan, during 25-27 June 2023. Tattori City has leading manufacturing industries in the country in various fields, both engineering and medical equipment, which work together with academic departments in universities to develop innovative research that can be spun off for commercialization, including cooperation with government agencies and the industrial sector in Thailand. The Council of Deans of Engineering Faculty of Thailand will be able to support connections to 65 member institutions nationwide that have engineering expertise and industrial networks that will be able to open up opportunities for developing students, high-performance workforces, and developing innovative research at the international level.
The agencies that the Council of Deans of Engineering Faculties of Thailand has met and discussed and studied are as follows:
- Executive meeting with Tattory Industrial Promotion Organization and Department of Commerce, Industry, amd Labor of Tottori Prefectural Office.
- Business visit to Sasayama Co.Ltd.
- Interactive session with businesses in Tattori Perfecture
