Hello, I’m Sumet Santikun, a lecturer from the Digital Marketing program, Faculty of Business Administration, Sripatum University.
Today I had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Ice-Thirasarn Sahasapas from SODA Printing in the e-Commerce #2 by SPU class at Sripatum University on the topic of Digital Marketing Trend. It was a very good presentation and gave a very clear picture of marketing in this era. So I would like to summarize the content from this presentation to share.
1. Shopertainment
– Shopping will become an activity you do in your free time. Some people do it to relieve stress, some do it because it’s fun. This kind of behavior will become normal in the near future.
2. Live will become mainstream
– We used to live on various social media channels such as FB, IG, or others to find traffic. But now we have to try to find our own space, whether it’s creating our own Group or even creating a Planform in the future.
3. Find the demand.
– In every channel, there will always be demand. During times when some people are down, when some people are in trouble, new demand will arise. We have to find out what that demand is. For example, during the initial outbreak of Covid-19, cloth masks sold well even though other things did not sell. This is the demand that has arisen.
4. You must always be cool.
– Ultimately, who are you going to buy from? You are going to buy from someone who is cool, looks good, and makes you want to buy. So you really need to keep your brand cool and everyone will want to buy from you.
5. Adaptability will make us survive.
– The market is changing so fast, customer behavior is changing so fast, especially young customers. The best way to adapt to them is to listen to them, and they will respond. The more you listen, the more you receive.
