Hello, my name is Surasak Kanasilp or Brother Benz. I graduated from the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University. I am currently working in the Finance Department, Air Force Command, Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters, as a Financial Clerk. The Air Force Command’s financial plan is responsible for providing financial services, including disbursements, travel allowances, accommodation, medical expenses, children’s tuition fees, house rent, salaries, welfare, and various expenses, including various benefits for civil servants in the Air Force Command.
Work How did you come to work in the Air Force? First of all, everyone must have their own dreams of what they want to be. I also have a dream to be an Air Force officer. After graduating with a vocational certificate in accounting, I followed the Air Force civil service examination page and there was an opening for recruitment of civilians to serve in the Air Force as a financial clerk. The qualifications of those who graduated with a vocational certificate in accounting, which was in line with the qualifications for recruitment, so I applied for the examination and was accepted into the civil service as a financial clerk at the Air Force Command, Air Force Headquarters, and became a civil servant of the Air Force according to my dream. During my time working, I learned that work should have a work system, practice patience, train us to have a good attitude towards our superiors and colleagues, and make us think and dare to make decisions in solving immediate problems. However, progress in civil service life must continue. I had the opportunity to study for a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Sripatum University to increase my progress in civil service life. Another goal is to use my bachelor’s degree to apply for promotion to a commissioned officer. Finally, what I want to tell my juniors is that everyone must have their own dreams and thoughts. The destination of life does not come to us, but we must reach the destination. I would like to give strength to all of you who are still discouraged or facing any problems. Let’s be determined and believe in ourselves that we can do it. Go far and reach our dreams. In this world, nothing comes easy. Every obstacle is a test of life that will teach and make us stronger to continue living and live happily in the present. Let’s just not give up and always encourage ourselves that we can do it. Fight!
