Hello, I graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum University. When I applied to study, I admit that I came to study because I liked math. I wondered if studying with real people, real experiences, and graduating with a job is 100% guaranteed. It is true. Before I even graduated, many companies contacted me for an interview and were ready to hire me. It was one of my impressions and I am proud of myself for being here. The Faculty of Accountancy, Sripatum, places importance on teaching and learning with people with direct experience, communicating and exchanging ideas with each other. The teachers and seniors take good care of you. The faculty places great importance on teaching and learning. There are training courses for students all the time to keep up with the digital age and the world that is changing faster than 5G. In addition to studying, it also promotes experiences in public service activities and integrates various experiences to prepare students for work.
Big 4 experience abroad or internship training. I had an internship in Laos. I gained experience as a representative of accounting students from Sripatum University to do an internship in ASEAN at KPMG Lao Co., Ltd. before being selected. My intention was to go to work as an accountant in a big, well-known company. So I decided to apply. I passed the interview with the teachers and seniors at the company. I was very happy to be selected. The experience started from traveling because I had to stay abroad for several months. But on the first day I went to work, the seniors were very nice. They shared their knowledge to me fully. I gained complete experience in auditing and met with clients and people there. They were very nice and happy. Most importantly, they made me realize that accounting can go to any career in the world.
Currently, I am an accountant at Suphara Consultant Accounting Office, a quality accounting office that is one of the top companies in Chiang Mai. I work on accounting, income-expenses, closing financial statements, giving advice on accounting, and being a tax consultant for clients. It really opened my eyes. I was in contact with clients all the time and learned about new businesses with them. It was a great start to my career. In the future, I intend to take the TA exam in order to work in this field with quality. You see, accounting is truly never-ending.
Finally, I would like to tell you guys not to close yourself off from learning the job. Sometimes, working in multiple roles will give you more experience than others. Accounting is more than just debit and credit. Today, we may not know what we like or what we want to be, but I believe that one day we will find ourselves. I would like to encourage all the students who are about to come to study and the students who are studying now. Keep fighting! Success is waiting for us.
