I grew up with the dreams of my family members. My mother dreamed of joining the military, but she did not have the opportunity to study because she had to help her grandparents farm. She only finished high school. So, she wanted me to follow her dreams.
The path to my dream was not paved with roses. I graduated with a higher vocational certificate and decided to work as an accounting data recorder for a private company. My work went well, but my mother wanted me to continue my studies and wanted to see one of her children graduate. She also did not give up on her dream of having her child serve in the military. So I decided to resign from the private company and applied for a job in a government agency so that I could have Saturday and Sunday off and use my holidays to study for a bachelor’s degree. The university that I was confident in and chose to apply to was Sripatum University, Faculty of Accountancy. I admit that working and studying at the same time was quite tiring. During my studies, I applied for the Air Force examination for the position of financial clerk and had the opportunity to serve in the Air Force for the first time.
The university gave me the opportunity to meet many different friends, and the friendships are so beautiful. It provides knowledge both in the classroom and in real life. A degree is a guarantee that we graduate according to the curriculum. In addition, it is also a path to dreams and success. I was able to use the knowledge I gained to fulfill my mother’s dream. In 2018, I passed the exam and was accepted into the position of Internal Audit Officer at the Internal Audit Office of the Royal Thai Army. Greater than my own success is seeing the smiles of my family members.
