Before deciding to study, I spent only 1-2 hours talking to the faculty. I checked with the faculty what they were studying and what their future career paths were. Everyone thinks that studying accounting is just about studying math. However, the university’s curriculum encourages students to apply their knowledge to other future careers besides being an accountant, such as a tax auditor, external auditor, or internal auditor. After graduating, you don’t have to worry about being unemployed or unemployed in the future because the faculty emphasizes that “studying accounting will give you a job.”
The job I did before graduating was accounting, but after graduating from Sripatum University, I had the opportunity to work in the company’s accounting audit as well. This allowed me to see every cycle of the business, whether it be income, expenses, capital increase, business expansion, and to see the overall picture of the business in detail in every related system. Therefore, my daily work is never monotonous or boring because I have to constantly study and seek knowledge, which is equivalent to constantly developing myself until I became an accounting and tax planning manager.
When we saw the progress from studying at Sripatum University, we decided to continue studying for a Master’s degree in Accounting at Sripatum University. From the experience of working in auditing and tax planning, we gained other skills. After graduating with a Master’s degree, we became an accounting consultant and worked in tax planning with other companies. Therefore, studying accounting is fun. It is not limited to working with numbers only. Therefore, “Studying accounting is not just about numbers.”
