Studying in university and working by applying the accounting knowledge learned from Sripatum University in the workplace is very challenging because of the nature of accounting work in the government system, which is a specific system. Therefore, international accounting principles have been applied, resulting in understanding and having a positive effect on the operations of the establishment.
After graduation, I worked as a clerk in the Salary and Wages Section, Finance Division, Phra Chulachomklao Naval Dockyard, Department of the Royal Thai Navy Dockyard, which involved disbursing salaries of civil servants, permanent employees, conscripts, and government employees. I worked directly through the salary system of the Accounting Department. I used some accounting knowledge, but not directly. For example, after processing the salary disbursement, I would coordinate with the accounting department and record the receipt and payment of salaries every month, allowing me to separate the accounting categories correctly. Although this was basic accounting, it was very important and enabled me to correctly accomplish the assigned tasks.
Finally, I would like to say that choosing to study in the Faculty of Accountancy at Sripatum University throughout the course, I am impressed with everything. The faculty who give advice and push the students to the fullest, the friends who help each other and graduate together, and I am very happy to be a part of the Faculty of Accountancy at Sripatum University.
