I am Pipat Samnianjaem, Faculty of Accountancy, SPU, ID 57. During my studies at the Faculty of Accountancy, SPU, I participated in many training courses provided by the faculty, such as tax training, accountant personality, etc. I also participated in the Business Model project, which is writing a business plan to enter the competition. In addition, the faculty organized a free Microsoft Office Certificate exam, which I received Excel and PowerPoint Certificates. There was also the S-PAC project that allowed me to do accounting with an accounting office and close financial statements for real customers using the Express program. In my fourth year, I participated in the cooperative education project by choosing the auditing line of work at Pitisevi Office Co., Ltd., an auditing office that accepts audits of companies in the stock market. After completing the internship, I immediately started working as an assistant auditor at Pitisevi Office Co., Ltd. and am currently working in GL and Consolidation at Food Passion Co., Ltd. as a Supervisor, responsible for closing financial statements of large companies, preparing consolidated financial statements, preparing corporate income tax, analyzing financial statements to present to executives, preparing information for preparing IPOs to enter the stock market, and taking care of accounts for income as well as setting various promotions of subsidiaries, etc.
Studying Accountancy at SPU allows us to experience real accounting work during our studies. For example, the S-PAC project and the MS Certificate exam make us the first choice when we graduate or do an internship. Participating in the Business Model at that time was the driving force that allowed us to open a small company and be our own accountant. We also got connections from friends who studied together and got CPA licenses to be our auditors. Importantly, knowledge of accounting and taxes, apart from the classroom, also gained knowledge from additional training organized by the faculty.
