At first, I made the wrong decision to study in a general stream and later found out that I didn’t like what I was studying, so I decided to drop out for 1 year to find what I liked. But in the end, after 1 year, I still couldn’t find what I liked. But when the time came to choose, I chose to study accounting first because my mother and many adults recommended that it was a field where it was easy to find work and that I could do many different careers, so I decided to go study it.
When I first started studying, I was very afraid that I would not be able to study because I am someone who does not like mathematics very much. But when I actually started studying, studying accounting was fun and quite suitable for my personality because I am a detailed and curious person who likes to find answers. When I solved the problems and the numbers came out right, I started to enjoy studying more. I continued to study for a vocational certificate, but I had to find a way to support myself. So I chose to study for a vocational certificate on Sundays and worked while studying. After finishing my vocational certificate, I looked for a university that accepted students on Sundays, and found “Sripathum University”. At first, I just went to the university to see the atmosphere and study environment, but in the end, I really liked it because everyone welcomed me very well. When I actually started studying, all the teachers were very lovely. They gave me advice and suggestions on everything in a friendly manner. I learned from lecturers who had real experience and were successful. It was an inspiration for me to want to be successful in this accounting career in the future as well.
Before entering university, I switched to working in real accounting in an accounting office. In terms of work, it made me have more fun and be more confident in myself. And I discovered that this is what I like because it is a job that mostly involves the same steps over and over again. When I do it repeatedly, I become more skilled and better. I want to learn and do new things more than before. At first, I wanted to be an accountant, but now I have a new dream of becoming an auditor. I have to thank “Sripathum” accounting for making me find my dream.
