ไฮไลต์สำคัญที่สะท้อนถึงวิสัยทัศน์อันก้าวไกลของสถาบันคือ การประกวด “SPU BRAND AMBASSADOR 2026” ภายใต้แนวคิด “Leading the Future Through Sustainable Society” ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาทุกเพศสภาพ โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ+) ก้าวขึ้นมาแสดงศักยภาพและทัศนคติในฐานะผู้นำรุ่นใหม่อย่างเท่าเทียม 100% โดยไม่มีข้อจำกัดหรือการระบุเงื่อนไขด้านเพศสภาพในกติกาการรับสมัคร อีกทั้งยังส่งเสริมสิทธิการแต่งกายตามเพศวิถี (Gender Identity) ที่ถูกระเบียบมหาวิทยาลัยตลอดการร่วมกิจกรรม ซึ่งสอดคล้องโดยตรงกับหลักการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในมิติการสร้างความเสมอภาคทางเพศและการยกระดับบทบาทของกลุ่มหลากหลายทางเพศเพื่อลดความเหลื่อมล้ำในสังคม (SDG 5.3.3 และ SDG 5.6.2)
เวทีนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เฟ้นหาตัวแทนที่มีบุคลิกภาพที่โดดเด่น แต่ยังมุ่งเน้นกระบวนการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และทัศนคติด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม โดยผู้เข้าประกวดทั้ง 26 คน ได้ผ่านการบ่มเพาะทักษะในศตวรรษที่ 21 ทั้งด้านการสื่อสารในที่สาธารณะ (Public Speaking) และการคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมสังคมผ่านกิจกรรมเก็บตัวและการฝึกซ้อมอย่างเข้มข้นในระหว่างวันที่ 5 มิถุนายน ถึง 9 กรกฎาคม 2569 จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญในวงการ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการทำหน้าที่เป็นกระบอกเสียงขับเคลื่อนการศึกษาที่เท่าเทียมและมีคุณภาพ (SDG 4.3.4) พร้อมทั้งได้รับการบันทึกชั่วโมงจิตอาสาจำนวน 8 ชั่วโมงเพื่อสนับสนุนโอกาสทางการศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง
นอกจากนี้ กิจกรรมยังเต็มไปด้วยพลังแห่งความสามัคคีสร้างสรรค์จากการประกวด “บัวระบือ ประชันเชียร์” และการเฉลิมฉลองผ่านพลังดนตรีจากวง SPU BRAND ของนักศึกษาทุนผู้มีความสามารถพิเศษ รวมถึงคอนเสิร์ตสุดเอกซ์คลูซีฟจากศิลปินระดับประเทศอย่าง วง Yented และ วง The Parkinson ซึ่งสร้างความสุขและความผูกพันให้เกิดขึ้นในใจของสมาชิกใหม่
การพลิกโฉมกิจกรรมต้อนรับน้องใหม่ในครั้งนี้ เป็นการพิสูจน์ให้เห็นว่า มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมมุ่งมั่นที่จะหล่อหลอมให้นักศึกษารุ่นใหม่เติบโตไปเป็นบัณฑิตที่มีคุณภาพ มีจิตสาธารณะ และพร้อมที่จะร่วมกันพัฒนาองค์กรและสังคมให้มีคุณภาพอย่างยั่งยืน โดยเริ่มต้นจากการสร้างพื้นที่ที่ปลอดภัย เท่าเทียม และยอมรับในคุณค่าของความเป็นมนุษย์อย่างแท้จริง

The Center for Student Development and Community Relations, under the Student Affairs division, in collaboration with the SPU Student Union, transformed the Special Activity Ground at Sripatum University, Bangkok, into a vibrant experiential learning space for the 2026 freshman welcoming project, themed “SPU Freshy Day Playground.” Held on Friday, July 10, 2026, the event warmly, safely, and creatively welcomed incoming students from all 13 faculties and colleges into the SPU family.
A major highlight reflecting the institution’s progressive vision was the “SPU BRAND AMBASSADOR 2026” competition, themed “Leading the Future Through Sustainable Society.” The initiative provided a platform for students of all gender identities, particularly the LGBTQ+ community, to showcase their potential and leadership perspectives with 100% equal opportunity. The recruitment criteria explicitly contained no gender restrictions, and participants were fully supported in dressing according to their gender identity in alignment with university regulations throughout the event. This practice directly fosters sustainable development by promoting gender equality and empowering underrepresented groups to reduce structural inequalities (SDG 5.3.3 and SDG 5.6.2).
Beyond exploring outstanding personalities, the platform emphasized fostering social responsibility. The 26 student representatives underwent rigorous training from June 5 to July 9, 2026, mastering 21st-century talents, including public speaking and social innovation under expert mentorship. This comprehensive preparation ensures they can effectively serve as institutional ambassadors promoting inclusive and quality education beyond the classroom (SDG 4.3.4). Furthermore, all participants received 8 hours of community service records to continuously support educational opportunities.
The atmosphere was also charged with creative unity through the “Bua Rabue Cheering Competition” and musical celebrations featuring the SPU BRAND concert by talented scholarship students, followed by exclusive performances from renowned national artists, Yented and The Parkinson, leaving a lasting impression of joy and solidarity among the freshmen.
This transformation of freshman welcoming underscores Sripatum University’s commitment to nurturing future-ready graduates equipped with a public-spirited mindset.
