Beyond the music and welcoming festivities, a significant milestone was marked by the launch of the ECOLIFE in U project. This initiative, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), aims to make sustainability accessible, engaging, and deeply integrated into daily student life.
The project engages Gen Z to Net Zero by empowering students to log their sustainable choices through the ECOLIFE App via LINE OA. Daily green actions earn points redeemable for rewards, volunteer service hours for the Student Loan Fund, and dynamic credentials for professional portfolios. This collaborative framework demonstrates SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals, specifically under sub-goal SDG 17.2 Relationships to support the goals and sub of sub-goal SDG 17.2.5 Collaboration with NGOs for SDGs through cross-sector partnerships.
