SPU Launches Affordable Student Housing Near BTS to Boost Urban Education Access
Empowering education through practical living solutions, Sripatum University (SPU) introduces the “Affordable Student Housing near BTS” initiative — a significant move to support students in overcoming rising urban living costs. Strategically located around key BTS stations such as Bang Bua, Saphan Mai, and Phaholyothin, this initiative bridges educational opportunity with everyday convenience.
Addressing the realities of student life in Bangkok’s escalating economic environment, SPU has collaborated with nearby apartments such as Tree House, Royal Bee, and บ้านอยู่สบาย to ensure quality, safety, and affordability are not compromised. This initiative directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11.4.5, which encourages affordable housing for students.
By focusing on students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds and first-generation learners (SDG 1.3.1, 4.4.1, 10.2.1), the university creates a more inclusive learning environment. Female students also benefit through improved access to secure accommodation (SDG 5.3.2), while the university strengthens local partnerships in line with SDG 17.2.5. This holistic approach ensures that housing no longer acts as a barrier to quality education, but a facilitator of academic and social growth.

ม.ศรีปทุม เปิดตัวโครงการ “ที่พักนักศึกษาราคาย่อมเยาใกล้ BTS” พลิกโฉมโอกาสเข้าถึงการศึกษาในเมือง
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) เดินหน้าสนับสนุนการเข้าถึงการศึกษาในเมืองด้วยโครงการ “ที่พักนักศึกษาราคาย่อมเยาใกล้ BTS” มุ่งช่วยเหลือนักศึกษาให้สามารถอยู่อาศัยในพื้นที่ที่สะดวก ปลอดภัย และราคาเหมาะสม ท่ามกลางภาวะค่าครองชีพที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้นในกรุงเทพฯ
โครงการนี้ครอบคลุมหอพักใกล้ BTS หลายแห่ง อาทิ Tree House, Royal Bee และบ้านอยู่สบาย ที่ตั้งอยู่ในย่านบางบัว สะพานใหม่ และพหลโยธิน ซึ่งนักศึกษาสามารถเดินทางได้สะดวกโดยรถไฟฟ้า BTS การดำเนินการนี้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน SDG 11.4.5 ที่มุ่งเน้นการจัดหาที่พักราคาย่อมเยาสำหรับนักศึกษา
