มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม (SPU) แสดงความห่วงใยสุขภาพของนักศึกษา โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มผู้หญิง ผ่านโครงการตรวจสุขภาพด้านอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ ฟรีตลอดทั้งปี ดำเนินการโดย ศูนย์ให้คำปรึกษาสุขภาวะ กลุ่มงานกิจการนักศึกษา โดยมีเป้าหมายชัดเจนในการสร้างโอกาสให้นักศึกษาเข้าถึงบริการด้านสุขภาพอย่างเท่าเทียม โดยเน้นการ ตรวจ HIV และ HPV (ไวรัสที่เป็นสาเหตุของมะเร็งปากมดลูก)
ตลอดปีการศึกษา โครงการมีการจัดกิจกรรม ไม่น้อยกว่า 6 ครั้ง โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจาก สมาคมวางแผนครอบครัวแห่งประเทศไทย และ มูลนิธิฟ้าสีรุ้งแห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งส่งทีมพยาบาลและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสุขภาพเข้ามาให้บริการตรวจคัดกรอง พร้อมให้คำปรึกษาเชิงลึกเรื่อง เพศศึกษา ความปลอดภัยทางเพศ และการป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์
โครงการนี้สนับสนุน SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being โดยเฉพาะเป้าหมายย่อย 3.3.1, 3.3.2, และ 3.3.4 ซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับความร่วมมือด้านสุขภาพ การให้ความรู้แก่ชุมชน และบริการอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์แก่นักศึกษา นอกจากนี้ยังส่งเสริม SDG 5: Gender Equality เป้าหมายย่อย 5.6.1 และ 5.6.3 โดยเปิดพื้นที่ปลอดภัยและไม่เลือกปฏิบัติในการเข้ารับบริการด้านสุขภาพของผู้หญิง
SPU ยังสะท้อนความเท่าเทียมตาม SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities ด้วยการให้บริการตรวจฟรีสำหรับนักศึกษาทุกคนโดยไม่มีเงื่อนไข และตอกย้ำบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยในการขับเคลื่อน SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals ผ่านความร่วมมือกับภาคประชาสังคมด้านสาธารณสุขอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
จากการคัดกรองโรคร้ายสู่การเรียนรู้ที่ปลอดภัย SPU ยังคงยืนหยัดในบทบาทของการดูแลสุขภาพนักศึกษา และสร้างพลเมืองหญิงที่มีความรู้เท่าทันและกล้าดูแลตนเองอย่างยั่งยืน
SPU Champions Women’s Reproductive Health with Free HIV and HPV Screenings All Year Round
In a powerful effort to support young women’s health and safety, Sripatum University (SPU) has launched a year-long initiative offering free reproductive health checkups to its students. Spearheaded by the Health and Wellness Advisory Center under the Student Affairs Division, the program ensures access to crucial screenings, focusing on HIV and HPV testing, especially for female students.
Running six or more times per year, the program brings in licensed nurses and specialists from leading national organizations—the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand and the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand (RSAT). These professional partners not only provide medical screenings but also one-on-one counseling in sexual and reproductive health, targeting prevention, early detection, and informed decision-making.
Anchored firmly in SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, this initiative addresses sub-goals 3.3.1 (partnerships with health institutions), 3.3.2 (community outreach on health topics), and 3.3.4 (student sexual and reproductive health services). By focusing on proactive women’s health engagement, SPU also actively contributes to SDG 5: Gender Equality, especially 5.6.1 and 5.6.3, empowering women through access to information and non-discriminatory health services.
The campaign is part of SPU’s wider strategy to uphold SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by offering screenings free of charge to all students, regardless of income or background, and reinforcing equality in campus healthcare access. It also embodies SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, creating meaningful collaborations with health-sector NGOs to fulfill common public health objectives.
From cervical cancer screenings to HIV prevention awareness, SPU continues to lead in safeguarding student wellness and promoting informed, empowered lives—one screening at a time.
