สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม นำโดย ดร.อภิรดี อำนรรฆมณี ผู้อำนวยการสำนักหอสมุด พร้อมด้วยคณะบุคลากร ได้ร่วมใจกันสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามทางพระพุทธศาสนา เนื่องในวันอาสาฬหบูชาและวันเข้าพรรษา ประจำปี 2569
กิจกรรมจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 23 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ บริเวณด้านหน้าอาคาร 11 มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม โดยมีพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์และตักบาตรข้าวสารอาหารแห้งแด่พระสงฆ์จำนวน 9 รูป เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลและเปิดพื้นที่ให้สถาบันเป็นศูนย์กลางในการอนุรักษ์มรดกทางวัฒนธรรม ตามเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities โดยเฉพาะในมิติ SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage ผ่านการดำเนินงานตาม SDG 11.2.5 Arts and heritage contribution ที่ส่งเสริมบทบาทของสถาบันในการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม และ SDG 11.2.6 Record and preserve cultural heritage ในการสืบทอดประเพณีอันทรงคุณค่าสู่ประชาคม
นอกจากนี้ การร่วมทำบุญและเจริญจิตภาวนายังช่วยสร้างความสงบทางจิตใจ เสริมสร้างสุขภาวะทางปัญญาและความผาสุกให้แก่บุคลากรและนักศึกษา สอดคล้องกับ SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being ภายใต้ SDG 3.3 Collaborations and health services ในส่วนของ SDG 3.3.7 Mental health support for staff และ SDG 3.3.5 Mental health support for students ที่มุ่งดูแลสุขภาพจิตของคนในองค์กรอย่างรอบด้าน
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการเป็นสถาบันการศึกษาที่ไม่เพียงส่งเสริมความรู้ทางวิชาการ แต่ยังเป็นศูนย์กลางการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตจิตใจ เพื่อเติบโตไปพร้อมกับสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน
The Library of Sripatum University continues its commitment to promoting mental well-being and preserving Thailand’s cultural heritage by organizing a Buddhist chanting ceremony and an almsgiving ceremony of rice and dry food offerings in observance of Asalha Puja Day and Buddhist Lent Day for the year 2026.
Sripatum University Library, led by Director Dr.Apiradee Amnuckmanee alongside dedicated staff, gathered to honor sacred Buddhist traditions on the auspicious occasions of Asalha Puja and Buddhist Lent 2026.
The ceremony took place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, in front of Building 11, Sripatum University. The event featured chanting prayers and alms-giving of dry food and rice to 9 respected monks. This collective effort brought spiritual blessings and unity to the campus while reinforcing SPU’s institutional role as a guardian of cultural identity, in alignment with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, specifically under SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage, through SDG 11.2.5 Arts and heritage contribution and SDG 11.2.6 Record and preserve cultural heritage.
Furthermore, engaging in mindfulness and spiritual merit-making directly supports the mental wellness of university members, reflecting SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being within SDG 3.3 Collaborations and health services, notably advancing SDG 3.3.7 Mental health support for staff and SDG 3.3.5 Mental health support for students.
