Rules and Procedures for Borrowing and Returning Information Resources
1.Users must present their identification card each time they request borrowing or returning services.
2.All borrowed library materials must be returned by the due date; otherwise, overdue fines will be charged.
3.Users are responsible for returning all borrowed materials before their student or staff status with the University ends; otherwise, they will have outstanding obligations with the Library.

 

Renewal of Information Resources (Renew)
1. Items may be renewed only if they have not been reserved by another user.
2. Overdue items cannot be renewed.
3. Users may renew items by themselves no more than two times.
4. After completing two self-renewals, users must contact library staff to renew the items in the system. Staff-assisted renewal may be granted up to two additional times, for a total of four renewals.
5. After four renewals, the items must be returned to the Library. If they are not returned, the system will automatically charge overdue fines.
6. The overdue fine rate is 5 Baht per day per item.
7. Users with outstanding fines will not be permitted to renew items or borrow new materials until all fines have been fully paid.

 

How to Renew Information Resources Online (Renew Online)
1. Visit the Library website at https://search-library.spu.ac.th
2. Log in to the system using your student, faculty, or staff ID.
3. Select the item(s) you wish to renew and click “Renew Selected”, or click “Renew All” if you wish to renew all items. The system will display the new due date.
4. Items may be renewed online up to two times. If an item is overdue, it cannot be renewed online and you must contact library staff.

 

Borrowing and Returning Board Games
1. Only the borrower’s own student ID card may be used for borrowing. The borrower is responsible for all components inside the game box.
2. Board games must be returned on the same day they are borrowed. Failure to return them on the same day will result in a fine of 100 Baht per day per item.
3. Board games may be borrowed and returned at the 6th Floor Service Counter, Monday–Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Games may be played only in the designated area on the 5th floor of the Library.
4. Board game services are suspended during examination periods.
5. In case of damaged or lost components, the borrower must pay a fine equal to the price of the board game, including any related processing fees.
