สำนักหอสมุด นำโดย ดร.อภิรดี อำนรรฆมณี ผู้อำนวยการสำนักหอสมุด พร้อมด้วยบุคลากร เข้าร่วมพิธีทำบุญตักบาตรพระสงฆ์ 19 รูป และพิธีวางพวงมาลัย เพื่อแสดงความกตัญญูและระลึกถึงผู้ก่อตั้ง ซึ่งเป็นการปลูกฝังค่านิยมแห่งการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต และการมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคมให้แก่นักศึกษาและบุคลากร
พิธีดังกล่าวยังสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยในการส่งเสริมสุขภาวะชุมชน และการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมองค์กรผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงจิตวิญญาณ อีกทั้งยังแสดงออกถึงค่านิยมการสนับสนุนการเข้าถึงการศึกษาอย่างเท่าเทียม

SPU Library Attended Honors Founder’s Legacy with Ceremony Marking 109 Years of Dr. Sook Pookayaporn
Sripatum University held a heartfelt ceremony on July 17, 2025, to commemorate the 109th anniversary of its founder, Dr. Sook Pookayaporn. The event, held at Building 11 (SPU 40th Anniversary Hall), brought together university leadership, faculty, students, and community members in a moving tribute that reflected the core values of gratitude, learning, and community service.
Led by Dr. Apiradee Amnuegkamanee, Director of the University Library, the SPU Library team participated in merit-making activities, including a morning almsgiving ceremony with 19 monks and a Flower wreath laying ceremony. These acts were deeply symbolic of Dr. Sook’s dedication to inclusive education and ethical leadership, which promote lifelong learning and civic responsibility.
By honoring Dr. Sook’s legacy, the university reinforced its commitment to community well-being and social inclusion, while fostering a culture that rejects discrimination and celebrates institutional heritage. The event also promotes equal access to education, a value that remains central to the university’s mission.
This annual commemorative tradition is not only not only connecting the university to its historical roots, but also a platform for practical learning and the transmission of values from generation to generation, which is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals on Education for Society in a concrete way
